I think you've just got too modern a version of qwt. Please see the compilation instructions on our web site. In particular:

Subject: [FSL] fslview compilation error in last step
Sent: 25 Aug 2009 01:55

Hi All,

After a bit of a struggle, I'm on the last leg of compiling fslview from source.
The dependencies (excluding the system-packaged cmake and qt) were successfully
built, and just as it seemed the compilation was finally going to succeed, I
received this error message:

[ 90%] Building CXX object src/fslview/CMakeFiles/fslview.dir/timeserieswidget.o
/usr/local/fsl-4.1.4_64bit/src/fslview/src/fslview/timeserieswidget.cpp: In
member function ‘virtual void TimeSeriesWidget::printPressed()’:
error: conversion from ‘QwtText’ to non-scalar type ‘QString’ requested
make[2]: *** [src/fslview/CMakeFiles/fslview.dir/timeserieswidget.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [src/fslview/CMakeFiles/fslview.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

Up until this point, I've avoided posting to the mailing list, but making
modifications to the actual code is a little beyond my field of expertise. Is
anybody able to offer any resolution to this error? Here are the basics of the
build environment (more details offered on request):

cmake version 2.6-patch 4
qt 3.3.6 (qmake version 1.07a)
qwt 5.2.1
vtk 5.4.2

Thank you very much,
