These workshops are small (there is an upper limit of 10 participants) and start with the 'big picture' of how a software package supports the analysis of qualitative data.  The workshops are intensive as they cover all aspects of the software and interweave discussion of designing and approaching analysing qualitative data with the various tools in the package. At the end of the second day there is an opportunity for each participant to work on how to represent their own research in the software package.

The principles of SdG Associates' training have been elaborated in the book: Silvana di Gregorio and Judith Davidson (2008) Qualitative Research Design for Software Users, Open University Press (McGraw-Hill Education). For more information and ordering see:

SdG Associates also run on-site workshops.  These can be customised for students or for research teams.
