Developing eLearning Resources - 27 May 2009
This one-day training course will raise awareness of the potential offered by eLearning to engage with audiences and practical, hands-on opportunities to create resources.  The course will highlight the primary considerations when creating quality eLearning resources within a Scottish context, including opportunities offered through Glow and Curriculum for Excellence and Scottish best practice examples.  This course will be of interest to staff and volunteers whose organisations are already engaged in some kind of digital activity but are looking to expand into producing eLearning resources in either an online or museum environment.

Course Objectives:

By the end of this course, participants will:

. Have an overview understanding of different eLearning outputs

. Understand the importance of having a good knowledge of target audiences and their needs to inform development of eLearning resources

. Understand the importance of implementing a structured user-testing and evaluation plan

. Have an improved understanding of the most appropriate eLearning output for their organisation

. Have the opportunity to create an e-learning resource.
