Julie, I run SPM5 with MATLAB 7.5 R2006b on an intel Mac with OS X 10.5 with no problem. I didn't need to compile the mex files or anything when I installed SPM5. And according to our IT department, we use the 32-bit version of MATLAB and I don't notice any speed difference between running it on my platform relative to other platforms I've seen. I would be interested to learn how to run a 64-bit version of MATLAB on Mac OS X. Rich.
