lifecycle Management is covered by Records Management practices. The Information
Governance Toolkit requirements relating to Information Lifecycle Management
are all met by Records Management Polcies, strategies etc. in my Trust.</font>

<br><font size=2 color=blue face="Arial">I do not know why this term is
used in the NHS rather than Records Management, which as Jim says is more
widely known, has a long history and is recognised as a profession. I agree
that it is confusing.</font>

that you just produce Records Management policy and Records Management
strategy documents as long as they address the management of <u>records</u>
throughout their life-cycle. &nbsp;The models produced by CfH can help.
&nbsp;You certainly don&#8217;t need 2 sets of documents and records <i>management</i>
is a more universal term. &nbsp;I can let you have copies from my current
and last workplace and there are plenty of others available.</font>
