CRD's Guidance for undertaking systematic reviews

***Apologies for cross posting***
Dear all
CRD’s original guidance for undertaking systematic reviews was first published in 1996 and revised in 2001. The guidance is widely recommended and used both nationally and internationally

The latest version 'Systematic Reviews: CRD’s guidance for undertaking reviews in health care', provides practical guidance for undertaking evidence synthesis based on a thorough understanding of systematic review methodology. It presents the core principles of systematic reviewing, and in complementary chapters, highlights issues that are specific to reviews of clinical tests, public health interventions, adverse effects, and economic evaluations. The final chapter discusses the incorporation of qualitative research in or alongside effectiveness reviews.

Free electronic access is available via on the CRD website, with paper versions available for purchase at £15 (inc p&p for UK customers).

Details of how to access the guidance can be found at http://www.york.ac.uk/inst/crd/systematic_reviews_book.htm
