I went to a seminar presented by Overdrive a few weeks ago. Overdrive are an American Company offering a service to library authorities to enable them to deliver a download service of ebooks; audio books and music to library customers. I just wondered if there are any authorities already offering downloadable resources to the public. If you are have you signed up with Overdrive or taken a different route.? Did you access external funding to enable you to develop this service? If so what was your source of funding? How many customers are using the download service? What types of resources are you making available? Any information you can share would be gratefully received.
