Lost track of all the latest curriculum changes? Bewildered by all the
government initiatives around children and young people? Not sure you could
work with 14-19 year olds? This day could be the answer.
The Schools and young people in
museums conference combines presentations bringing you up to date
with the latest initiatives with practical workshops based on experience
developed through local projects. The workshops offer participants the chance
to consider working with 14-19 year olds, Looked After Children or the Early
Years, plus the participants showcase during lunch gives you the chance to
share your experience.
This day would be particularly suitable for those new or returning to
museum learning, people looking to work with new audiences and people looking
for opportunities to demonstrate their contribution to Local Authority agendas.
