Postdoctoral Research Fellow and PhD Scholarship in Statistics

School of Population Health, The University of Queensland

One Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Statistics and one PhD Scholarship in Statistics are offered at the School of Population Health at the University of Queensland. Both positions are offered for 3-years and are ARC funded. The successful applicants will join a multi-disciplinary team interested in advancing and evaluating statistical methods which deal with attrition in longitudinal studies. They will have access to an excellent research environment including advanced software and computing infrastructure, high quality data and access to a wide-range of scientific expertise. The positions would particularly suit applicants with expertise in mathematical and statistical modelling, and it would be an advantage to be familiar with Bayesian as well as standard frequentist analyses.
