Dear colleague,

Apologies for cross posting:

We are currently funded by LearnHigher (http://www.learnhigher.ac.uk/) to investigate m-learning within UK higher education
institutions and it is critical that we engage with as many colleagues working in this emerging area as possible. The M-Learning
Project aims to:

● identify current developments in m-Learning in UK higher education
● assess the use and viability of learning objects delivered via mobile technologies
● to identify future expectations from the next generation of students entering UK HEIs.

This is being undertaken by the Centre for Research in Library and Information Management (CERLIM), Manchester Metropolitan
University (http://www.cerlim.ac.uk).

We would be very grateful if you could spare a few minutes to help us gather data on current developments within your
institution, the survey is in four parts, each part should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed
using the following link:

www.survey.bris.ac.uk/tiri/mlearning2

We would also be grateful if you pass this to other colleagues you think may be interested in participating in this much needed
research. If you have any questions or wish to talk with us further please contact either Geoff Butters, Jenny Craven or Jill
Griffiths at CERLIM
