Dear colleagues,

Thanks to Jonathan for bringing these 2 documents to our attention.

However, is just me that doesn't have time to read them (let alone digest the content and decide whether I need to do anything) or do others struggle too?

We seem to get bombarded with this stuff continually - and collectively we must spend literally thousands of hours reading and trying to digest it: much of which is history before it even gets to print.
I wonder whether this just a UK phenomenon or is it worldwide?

In order to save us all time perhaps the ACB or RCPath could set up a group that would be responsible of sifting through these documents and then summarising them for us so that we can focus on what is really needed? I guess the ACB news and RCPath bulletins do that to a degree but a "political" focus group, perhaps reporting every 3-4 months might be useful to all?

Anyway, rant over and thanks again Jonathan-It is really good that someone has their finger on the political pulse.

Best wishes

Ian Barlow
