LEEDS UNIVERSITY LIBRARY - FACULTY TEAM LIBRARIAN (HEALTH)

In this major research library, Faculty Team Librarians support learning, teaching and research activities through the delivery of customer-focused services to University students, researchers and staff.  They are responsible for collection management and development and the provision of information skills sessions.  The postholder will have specific liaison responsibilities with the School of Healthcare.

You will be a graduate or equivalent (preferably in a relevant subject) and have a professional library qualification or substantial relevant experience.  The ideal candidate will have excellent IT and communications skills, and knowledge of or experience in health information sources.  A teamworker, you will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work under pressure and balance workloads is essential.

Grade: University of Leeds 6 or 7 (£23,002 - £27,466 or £28,290 - £33,780) according to experience.

Hours: This is a full time post.  Participation in the evening duty rota as supervisor in charge of the Library site is a requirement of the post
