A post-doctoral position
in magnetic resonance imaging is available in the
The imaging laboratory is
equipped with a Bruker 4.7T/60cm vertical bore MRI
research system for fMRI investigation of non-human primates and small animals.

A successful applicant
will work in the areas of MR physics and methodology development with access to
a Bruker 4.7T/60cm vertical bore MR preclinical/research
system. The research of the project will focus on the development of advanced
methods for high spatial/temporal resolution nonhuman primate fMRI. Ideally,
you have completed a PhD in MR physics (or relevant fields) with working
experience in correction of EPI distortion, reduction of signal dropout using
navigator echo, combined passive and active shimming, development of special RF
pulses, and development of RF coils as required for the research.
Salary scales: RA1A, RAII (£23,002 - £32,796, depending on experience)
