GIS  & Digital Mapping Sales Executive-(UK Defence  Accounts)

Location:  - Nominally London or The Midlands 
Earnings  Package of high basic salary, uncapped commission and very 
achievable  quota     
My  client is seeking an additional IT/GIS business development professional  
to complement their highly successful Defence Division sales team.   
This  strategically important and challenging role will suit an individual 
who  is keen to step up into the top flight of the GIS industry.  This is a rare 
opportunity to join  an established team which is enjoying sustained success 
in this hugely  fertile business sector. The successful candidate will be 
responsible for  identifying new business opportunities and maintaining key 
business  relationships with major public and private sector accounts within the  
defence systems market. 
You  will be required to proactively identify opportunities, develop and  
deliver effective presentations highlighting the benefits of  enterprise-wide use 
of geographic analysis using market leading technology  as required by indi
vidual accounts.   Training can be provided in this area.   
Qualifications: 
•  Candidates will need to demonstrate aptitude for or experience of business 
 development within a software-driven company that addresses this  market.  
Of particular  interest to us, is strong experience of preparing winning ITTs 
and the  necessary business acumen to identify and implement suitable financing 
 arrangements 
•  In depth experience of GIS is not essential but is desirable, more  
important is a sound technical understanding of the benefits of GIS,  related 
internet applications and associated IT consultancy services.   

•  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the attributes  
necessary for selling both software product and services into major  account 
environments. 

•  Excellent executive-level presentation skills with the ability to create  
both a need and urgency within senior management are essential  attributes.
