Hello FSL experts,

I wonder why fslview sometimes shows values of the image that is
outside the range that I specified in the min max window.
For example, I loaded one of my thresh_zstats and set min to 0 and
max to 2, but fslview still showed clusters of voxels with values
above 3 or 4.
(The thresh_zstat was not at the bottom of the image list.)

In the FSLview manual, it says:

[The "Min" & "Max" fields(1) display the minimum & maximum value of
the display range. Unless the image is at the bottom of the Image
List, any voxels with intensity below the minimum set here will not
appear, i.e., the image is effectively threshold at "Min" and these
voxels will be rendered transparent. Note that this is only the case
when continuous colormaps are in use. Label colour maps do not change
display with the brightness and contrast settings at all.]

Aren't feat output images (e.g., thresh_zstats) a continuous color map?
What about randomise outputs (e.g., maxc_tstats), aren't they
continuous color maps?
Any suggestions on what might be the problem?

Thank you for your response.
