Hello All,

This may have been covered in the past, but I was wondering, if any of you use Blackboard for student unit evaluations - surveys that are run on units throughout the year? We are in the process of trying to do this but have come up against some problems. The main one is trying to collate the results and drill down further to university and registry standards.

We have heard of other software such as, Waypoint, CoursEval, that use a building block in Blackboard.  Have any of you heard of them?

If your school is involved in doing Student Unit Evaluations, then how do you go about doing them? And/or do you use any other external software.

P.S. I am still new to this mailing list so if you could attach your University name to your email, it would really help.

Thanks,

Hello

I did have a problem with this once - it turned out students had pressed 'save' rather than 'submit' at the end of the survey (not realising the difference).

They just had to go back into the survey and press 'submit'.

Best wishes
Melanie

Subject: Many Attempts in Progress

Hi,

I have six surveys in a particular course. Each a couple of months old.

Of the respondents, a small proportion of the people have completed the surveys successfully while an extremely high (suspicious) proportion of the people have “attempts in progress” with no questions answered.

Has anyone had a problem with surveys along these lines with Bb 7.1?

Many thanks,

Andy.
