Eastenders DP Breach!!
Yes, but is the story finished.  Could it be that BBC are providing an awareness of the dangers of one's actions in terms of how the handle data and could it be that we see someone or persons hauled over the coals!!

Yes I did see it Antoinette but you've spolied the story-line for me now - didn't know that the tape was destroyed!!!  (only joking!!!).  Yes, doesn't matter who you are these days you can get anyone's information if you really want to - especially if the Govt holds the data...
Agreed though BBC Researchers - wrap over the knuckles - no they'll just put the licence fee up.....

Subject: Eastenders DP Breach!!

There is a story-line running in Eastenders currently (for those of you who above watching such trash!) in which local business-man, Ian Beale, obtains from the new assistant market inspector, Bradley Branning, on his second day in the job, a copy of the CCTV video tape which shows that the person responsible for vandalising a piece of LB of Walford property, namely a market stall, is indeed the stallholder themselves.  All my DP senses were affronted!!  Why had this tape been released to an unrelated third party?  It wasn't even his property that had been damaged.  Why had the Council not properly investigated the damage to its property and reported it to the Police?  What is the point of having such CCTV systems, if they don't.  And why was a new member of Council employed staff not briefed on who may or may not have access to CCTV tapes recorded on a Council owned/operated system under his control?  The storyline continued with Ian Beale confronting his estranged son (aka errant stallholder) and in the ensuing fracas the video tape is destroyed and along with the chance to pursue any prosecution.  Tut, tut, BBC all round!
