The RSPB are currently looking for an individual who enjoys working with 
maps and geographic information to join the Reserves Team in the 
Conservation Data Management Unit. You will be responsible for the 
digitising, maintenance and distribution of RSPB reserve boundaries held in 
Merlin, the RSPB's GIS. Your primary role will be to run our central 
service creating maps for use in reserve management plans.  

Experience of mapping and handling data preferably in MapInfo is essential. 
You will need to be well-organised, able to work on your own initiative and 
as part of a team. You will have excellent communication and computer 
skills, a friendly approachable manner and an eye for detail. A knowledge 
of site or habitat management planning is desirable.

Salary: £15,000-£17,000

This is a full time, established post.
