Hi All, appologies for cross posting but I would really appreciate some advice. A student cannot attend certain lectures, for the entirety of that unit/module. The student can attend the seminars for those units module. As the student can attend other lectures, distance learning seems like an unnecessarily limiting option. 1. Would you consider it a reasonable adjustment to provide a note taker or support worker to record lectures? 2. Would you consider this something that would be recommendable within the DSA? 3. Another possibility is asking the lecturers to record the lecture, put that on disk or on the intranet, and pass on the recorder to a colleague to record a further lecture, each week. Does that seem like a reasonable adjustment to ask of them? please share your thoughts on/off list.
