Lecturer in German

 

The Department of German at the University of Leeds invites applications for the post of Lecturer in German. You will be expected to take up the post on 01 September 2007, or by 30 October 2007 at the latest. The field is open, within the broad area of German Studies, but the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a cultural-studies approach to both research and teaching. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate how you will complement and expand the department's current research interests.

 

You will have a PhD in a relevant discipline and have a publication profile appropriate for submission to RAE 2008. Also, you will have a record of organising conferences, or editing volumes or working on collaborative research projects, and will be able to demonstrate effective teaching skills and a range of delivery techniques and assessment methods.

 

University Grade 7 (£29,138 - £31,840 p.a)
