The Society of Archivists is now taking bookings for the following training event being organised by the Northern Region;
This training event is intended to give archivists who are interested in working with children, the opportunity to gain practical experience and insights into educational projects and classroom techniques. There will be speakers from a variety of local educational projects talking about their experiences of working with children and young people - what worked, what didn't and what they would do differently next time. Experts from the Archives for Education and Learning Group will lead practical workshops on running classroom sessions and outreach activities.

This event will be preceded by a meeting of the Northern Region of the Society of Archivists from 10.00 am. Members from other regions are welcome to attend.
Date/Times: Monday, June 4th, 11.00am to 4.20pm.
