Dear All The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (acas) has launched a new free online course to help employers avoid discrimination in the workplace on the grounds of religion or belief. The new course: 1) Defines religion or belief; 2) Explains the legal aspects of the religion or belief regulations; 3) Explains how the regulations affect recruitment and existing employees; 4) Looks at the day-to-day impact the regulations might have on businesses. New users are required to register on the Acas site at: http://www.acas.org.uk/elearning/registration/registration_add_s1.asp before being able to access the course.
