a few days ago someone here on the list named a font, which was colourful painted. It was a font somewhere in England, I think. Maybe someone on the list can remember it better than me.
I only got a german literature-hint. In St. Martini in Halberstadt there is a bronze font, which is richly ornamented and coloured (12th century).
