Expressions of interest are invited to carry out an appraisal of options for future service delivery for Tyne & Wear Archives Service. The Service has recently been unsuccessful in attracting funding for new accommodation, and has now decided to review its wider service delivery options, taking particular account of accommodation, partnership opportunities and the wider vision for archives in the UK, as well as local aspirations. It is envisaged that the appraisal will take approximately 30 days, including site visits, consultation with key stakeholders and the presentation of a formal report. Proposals setting out the proposed approach to the task, relevant knowledge, experience and skills, timetable and quotation for the work should be received by Friday 23 March 2007, and the deadline for completion of the work is mid-June.
