We went for MindGenius after having the free licence for 2 years under the CHEST agreement so some people had got used to it. I guess it would help if the dyslexic world settled on just one piece of software, as I realise that Inspirations is often given out by assessors - but that's asking too much. Anyway, we would only buy one programme. John. We need to make a decision as an institution as to site licences and costs. Does anybody have any examples of how they have gone about this in their institution. We currently have no individual identified who is reponsible university- wide for maintaining and training staff and students on assistive technology and are hoping to appoint. Does anyone have any job descriptions and where is that person based in your institution ie in the computer services or disability services. Regards Eileen
