If a Social Work student is diagnosed with HIV, is the student legally 
obliged to disclose this information to the academic department?

I've checked the 'fitness for practice' documents of the GSCC and it appears 
that this might be the case, but as they seem to group HIV with infectious 
communicable diseases such as Hepatitits B and C, I'm assuming the 
guidelines were written sometime in the early 1980s and have been subject to 
review since they were produced?
