Geographical Information Systems (GIS) - Temporary Associate (Immediate 
Start)  
Location: Bristol  
Start: Immediate 
Contract: 4 weeks initially (possible extension)

We are currently seeking a temporary GIS associate for an immediate start, 
to assist our growing GIS team in Bristol to perform a range of duties 
including GIS/database manipulation and analysis (using ArcGIS, MapInfo and 
MS Access), GIS/database programming and production of figures and analysis 
for  environmental studies.  
 
You are likely to have a good first degree in an environmental discipline,  
such as Geography, GIS or Environmental Studies and an additional MSc  
qualification in Geographical Information Systems.  Additional work  
experience within a GIS/environmental consultancy would be beneficial. 
Other desirable skills include: ArcGIS, ArcGIS Spatial Analyst, MapInfo 
GIS, Microsoft Access, GIS programming skills (ArcObjects, VBA, VB.NET); 
remote sensing analysis;  terrain/grid modelling and land use assessment.
