Yes, but my point is that the investigation could have been concluded a lot earlier if that information had been disclosed rather than IH being broadcast over our screens making out he was trying to help the investigation...and then for the poor parents to then find out that the callous so and so was in fact the perpetrator. Oh well, it's nearly Friday..... If it was the Humberside Police not passing on to Cambridgeshire Police the full details of earlier suspicions about Huntley, when he was being vetted for a position at a school (and not the same school the murdered kids went to), then that was a much wider and less specific decision. [aiui, even if Huntley had failed the vetting he might easily have got a job doing something else locally and still been at home when the kids called to visit his entirely appropriately vetted, but temporarily absent, girlfriend.] -- Roland Perry ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ All archives of messages are stored permanently and are available to the world wide web community at large at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/data-protection.html If you wish to leave this list please send the command leave data-protection to [log in to unmask] All user commands can be found at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/help/commandref.htm Any queries about sending or receiving messages please send to the list owner [log in to unmask] Full help Desk - please email [log in to unmask] describing your needs To receive these emails in HTML format send the command: SET data-protection HTML to [log in to unmask] (all commands go to [log in to unmask] not the list please) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ PLEASE NOTE: THE ABOVE MESSAGE WAS RECEIVED FROM THE INTERNET.
