That sounds useful but I have not heard of 'conditional release'. Is it
something available in Campus edition 4.1 with a Focus licence I wonder?
My designers tell me they can 'hide' certain things from certain users.

Thanks Moira

We use conditional release to prevent guest users accessing certain
areas/tools.
Best wishes

I would like to ask if other people allow guest access to any of their
their webct courses. (We are still using WebCT Campus Edition 4.1.). We
are not sure about giving out a guest user name and password if it is
going to be a full student with the ability to upload files
(assignments) and email other students. Is there any way of setting up a
read-only user? I can't see one. What do other people do? I would be
interested in your experiences.
