Dear Zooarchers,
I hope you can help me : I am working on the faunal remains from a gallo-roman villa in western France and I am dealing with a deposit (IInd to IVth century A.D.) composed of several complete skeletons; among them, those of three Barn Owls - Tyto alba.
Do you have any kind of reference about Barn Owl records on roman sites?
