Hello Pirkko
We have a donkey shoe somewhere that was lying around in the barn
belonging to our house when we moved in. A neighbour explained that it
came from a donkey. This is about the same size as you describe, but I
don't know where it is so I can't measure it. I can best describe it
as being longer (front to back) than it is wide (side to side),
compared to horseshoes which are roughly the same size in both
directions.
If I find it I will send you details
I hope this helps

Fiona
