>       The role will support the MARCEL network development and delivery       and associated projects within the Arts Programme

> Key Results Areas
>                       	
> *     Mediating the interface between MARCEL network and SICE to provide supported access to the portal for SICE         participants
> 
> *     Supporting the MARCEL Pedagogical Coordinator to propose and deliver a pedagogical programming to the        MARCEL network.
> 
> *     Building, developing and maintaining a MARCEL online database of local, national and international digital       media research and development material and information. 
> 
> *     Linking the MARCEL online database to all available digital media archives online.  Also information on non-      digital archives and centres.   
> 
> *     Generating, facilitating and supporting creative projects in collaboration with the MARCEL Artistic Coordinators     within The Public Arts Programme and in partnership with other MARCEL members. 
> 
> 
> Specific Duties / Tasks
> 
> *     Searching, selecting and editing digital media material into purpose built online MARCEL databases for onward        dissemination to SICE participants and other MARCEL members and for participant and member searching. 
> 
> *     Supporting the dissemination by posting of MARCEL pedagogical programmes over the SICE networks (real         and virtual)
> 
> *     Identification of potential individual matches between MARCEL material and SICE participants and > '> match   making> '>  these matches
> 
> *     Evaluating projects and material developed by SICE participants for potential contribution to the MARCEL    network
> 
> *     Evaluating creative projects proposed and developed by the MARCEL Artistic Coordinators and other MARCEL  members for potential interest to the SICE participants
> 
> *     Responding to queries by MARCEL members about projects, enterprises and the general condition of the        sector in the regeneration zone
> 
> 
> Person Specification
> 
> The post holder will need to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
> 
> *     Excellent research skills
> *     Good understanding and/or experience of artistic/creative online networks 
> *     Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills
> *     Good knowledge of the regional digital arts sector 
> *     Excellent communication skills 
> *     Experience of database development and management
> *     Ability to spot opportunities for collaboration and matching needs of artists to materials
> *     Ability to facilitate and support online creative projects
> *     An understanding of web design (desirable but not essential) 
> *     Good knowledge of written French (desirable but not essential)
