The GeoInformation Group is one of the UKs leading suppliers of aerial
photography and geographic data products to the professional market place.

A position has arisen within the existing sales team of this dynamic
company to expand their UK business-to-business sales, which have a strong
government focus.

Qualifications
Applicants should have a first or second-class degree in Geographical
Information Systems or a geography related subject.

Salary
Flexible depending on experience.
Package also includes share scheme, health care and contributable pension
scheme.

Location
Cambridge, England

Role
The role will encompass management of existing accounts, plus development
and generation of new accounts with the support of the UK Sales Manager.

Sale activities include initiating sale campaigns, sourcing new contacts
and developing existing sales opportunities. Long term & repeat business
is pivotal to the company therefore good customer care is essential.

Some travel will be required including overnight stays and a driving
licence is essential.

The successful candidate will experience face to face and telephone
contact with public sector GIS Managers and IT Managers of large FMCG and
Blue-Chip companies. Candidates will need to be competent with clients,
numerate, computer literate, able to work in a small team and be
particular about attention to detail. The vacancy would suit somebody with
a strong combination of geographical and GIS skills and interests in
dealing with people. Previous commercial or customer service experience
would be advantageous however full training will be given.
