Paragraph 18A of Schedule 2 to the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (inserted by Section 85 of the Local Government Act 2003) applies.

Council's can use Council Tax personal data (name, address, number) to identify vacant dwellings or bring vacant dwellings back into use.

Did I dream that we could now use Council Tax data to identify empty
properties?
An argument between our housing & CT people about such an issue was re
started today, but for some reason I thought that this one secondary use
was now allowed.
Am i losing it?
