A qualified archivist would be preferred but is not essential. It is essential that you are a graduate with proven interpersonal and communication skills, with experience of effective team working and outreach/education activities. You must have the ability to initiate and deliver your own work programme. You will be required to organise and deliver a programme of visits, exhibitions and education projects, offer advice on records management and build sustainable links between the Service and potential depositors of records. Training will be given as required. This Heritage Lottery funded post is offered for 2 days a week (2.5 for a qualified archivist) over two years. Working hours are open to negotiation for the right person. If successful, you will have to apply for an enhanced Disclosure.
