Bedfordshire & Luton Archives & Records Service is looking for a well-motivated assistant archivist to carry out cataloguing, searchroom duty, enquiry work, and to assist with outreach such as talks and special events - sometimes outside normal working hours.
This is a full-time, permanent post; 37 hours per week. 
Scale 6  (£19,185-£20,469)  Pay award pending
Do you have the skills necessary for this post? You will need a good honours degree, a recognised post-graduate qualification in archives administration, and some experience of sources for local history. Our Service is a four-time holder of Charter Mark for excellence in service provision, so you will need the personal qualities and customer-care skills to help us keep up this reputation.
