--------Apologies for Cross Posting ---------------------- London regional launch of Inspiring Learning for All 11 June 2004 Royal Geographical Society It is not too late to book a place for the London regional launch of Inspiring Learning for All (ILFA). This free event is being run by ALM London to showcase the new national framework for inclusive learning in museums, libraries and archives. More information can be found on www.inspiringlearningforall.gov.uk. If you would like to book a place, a leaflet about the launch and a booking form can be downloaded from this link: http://www.lmal.org.uk/news/index.cfm?ArticleID=495&NavigationID=5. The framework has been developed through extensive consultation and is a groundbreaking piece of work, which describes for the first time what it is that people learn as a result of using museums, libraries and archives and what we need to do in order to stimulate and support that learning. This will be ALM London's first regional event and is an important milestone following the formation of the regional agency in April this year. In addition to our guest speakers, Chris Batt and Dr Maud Blair, there will be examples of case studies from organisations using the ILFA framework, and a panel of speakers to take your questions and answers. The event will be followed by a drinks reception until 5.00pm. We are very grateful and appreciative to the Royal Geographical Society for hosting this important event.
