The School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of
Adelaide is seeking two suitably qualified Lecturers in
Statistics.  The Statistics Discipline offers undergraduate
programs in Statistics to honours level and a
range of postgraduate coursework.  You will contribute to
teaching and supervision at all levels and to the research
performance of the School.  Current research interests of the
Discipline may be found at: http://www.maths.adelaide.edu.au/

You should have:

 *  a PhD in Statistics or equivalent
 *  a record of research in any area of statistics and the
    potential and commitment to attract external research funding
 *  the ability to teach effectively

Salary: $55,876 - $66,353 per annum, plus attractive superannuation
benefits. Position 7207 is available from 1 January 2005 on a
tenurable basis.  Position 9658 is available from 1 January 2005
