It was followed by SEVERAL HUNDRED lines of gibberish. (The report at the
head of the Digest says it is 1194 lines long, with six messages.)
Illisible? I'll say. I run a Mac, which makes it puzzling, since it seems to
be Mac-related code..

Several people's messages are arriving like this now, though few as
extensive as today's. If we can find out what's doing this, can we stop it?
It took several minutes to download and is frankly not friendly.
