medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

The term shows up in the PL mostly in annotations until:

Eusebius Cremonensis: EUSEBIUS, DE MORTE HIERONYMI AD
                 DAMASUM. (S)* in vol. 22

& Augustinus Hipponensis / Auctor incertus: SERMONES AD FRATRES IN
EREMO COMMORANTES, ET QUOSDAM ALIOS. (C,G,S) in vol. 40.

The term seems well rooted by the time of John Cassian, who refers to it twice.
