The first issue of a new international journal that
promotes research into effective learning and teaching
practice in economics higher education is published this
month.

The International Review of Economics Education is
dedicated to enhancing learning and teaching in the higher
education economics community. It will provide a forum for
high quality research in the areas of curriculum design,
pedagogy, assessment, innovation and evaluation. The
journal seeks to promote critical dialogue on educational
theory and practice in economics and to demonstrate the
relevance of research to good professional practice.

The twice-yearly journal is supported and funded by the
Economics centre of the Learning and Teaching Support
Network (Economics LTSN). Economics LTSN is one of 24
subject centres, based in higher education institutions
throughout the UK, offering subject-specific expertise and
information on learning and teaching.

subscribers (overseas educational subscibers pay a
subsidised rate). You can subscribe to the journal by
