I am pleased to forward information for the International Society
for Industrial Ecology’s second conference, to be held in Ann Arbor,
MI, from June 29 – July 2, 2003.  Attached is the conference's call for
papers. Please feel free to post this information on your e-mail lists
and websites.

The International Society for Industrial Ecology (ISIE) is a
professional society dedicated to supporting research, applications,
and communication related to the rapidly growing field of industrial
ecology.  Industrial ecology encompasses tools and frameworks such as
life-cycle assessment (LCA), eco-design, eco-industrial parks,
materials flow accounting (MFA) and cleaner production (CP).

Abstracts for papers to be presented at the meeting may be submitted
over the web [log in to unmask]  The deadline for submission of abstracts
is November 4, 2002, and authors with accepted abstracts will be
