Hi there, Apologies for cross posting..... Thought this might be of interest to you...Some of you may have noticed an article that Scott posted to the CETIS website on Friday summarising a report in the Online Learning Magazine called "SCORM: Clarity or Calamity?". The report questions whether the underlying model behind SCORM is actually useful for teaching and learning. To my mind both Scott's summary and the original article are very balanced and raise some interesting and valid questions about the SCORM approach. A representative of ADL has now entered the debate on this article and has posted a comment on the CETIS website that begins "Since this article was submitted - the reporter has been fired, the print version of Online Magazine has ceased publication......" You can read Scott's summary at http://www.cetis.ac.uk/content/20020802112525 and ADL's response at http://www.cetis.ac.uk/content/20020802112525/20020805131828 Bye Lorna -- Lorna M.
