Subject: Vibration caused by highwy traffic

A house owner living over 50 m from a busy 6-lane freeway complaints about structural damage to the house caused by highway traffic.

Has anybody encountered a similar situation, or a situation where ground-borne vibration caused by highway traffic was a problem? Is there a practical solution?

Any help is appreciated.
