medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture In previous years everyone on the Hagiography Society mailing list has received a newsletter in late March or April, reminding them of the annual business meeting and luncheon at Kalamazoo. This year we got so far behind that the spring newsletter won't be out until after Kalamazoo. But there WILL be a meeting, as usual, with some important business to be done, some very good food (far better than the usual Kalamazoo fare) to be consumed, and a great chance to get together with other people who are doing research on saint-related subjects. So please join us if you are interested and able to get there. Friday, 4 May, 12 noon, Valley I Dining Room. Hagiography Society Business Meeting with Buffet Luncheon. In case you're wondering about the practical details, the cost of the buffet luncheon is $7.95 per person. Unfortunately we can't use meal tickets for this, but we can accept checks in most currencies, or even bill you later if you'd rather not pay in cash. And you don't need to make a reservation in advance. Besides the luncheon, the Hagiography Society is sponsoring four very good sessions at Kalamazoo, all organized by Renate Blumenfeld -Kosinski. In case you've overlooked them in the program so far, here are the details: Thursday, 3 May, 1:30 pm, Schneider 1130. Session 100: Early Saints and Their Reuses in Later Periods I.
