Sorry for any cross-posting Full details of the First Diverse Conference on Video and Videoconferencing , at the University of Derby, July 2 - 4 are now posted on the web. http://www.derby.ac.uk/diverse/conference.htm I think you will agree that the programme looks very exciting, and that you are unlikely to come across such a concentration of expertise on effective pedagogical uses until the next DIVERSE conference! Video is resurgent as a medium with streaming and much cheaper/easier videoconferencing - plus new emergent uses, like telepresence teaching. The pre-conference workshops are limited in numbers to give participants the maximum hands-on opportunities. So register now using the online form, or print it and mail it. And inform colleagues of the staff development opportunity it offers. Many thanks.
