How can I get in touch with Andrés Bustamante? Nearly 40 years ago,
with
Colombian colleagues, I mapped (and published: USGS Map I-860) tens of
thousands of square kilometers of the crystalline geology of the Colombian
Central Andean Cordillera. Why, we even drew isograds, never previously
done in Colombia. Even though so much time has passed, I've not been able
to get those fascinating rocks (lower greenschist to granulite grade),
especially the regional andalusite phyllites, out of my head. I would
enjoy corresponding with Andrés and to learn about his work. We might both
benefit!
