Surely someone on this list can come up with better specifics. They're quite well done.

Subject: films
I am compiling a list of films for a religion and film course. Most of the movies I have found are male-oriented (Cool Hand Luke, Shawshank Redemption, Blade Runner). Those I have are also more reflective of the Judeo-Christian tradition, so some suggestions that are less male-oriented and less Judeo-Christian would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks everyone,
