Call for papers:
Rethinking Gender and Power:
A Postgraduate
Interdisciplinary Conference

Papers are invited for a two-day postgraduate conference on gender to be
held on the 30th and 31st August 2001 at Queen's University, Belfast.

We welcome submissions from postgraduates working within all disciplines
whose work contains a gender component. Suggested themes or areas include,
but are not limited to:

    1    (En)Gendering International Relations Theory
    2    Gender, Identity and Movement
    3    Gender Theory
    4    The European Integration Experience and Gender
    5    Gender and Sport
    6    Gender and Violence, Justice and Human Rights
    7    Gender(s) in Conflict
    8    Mediating/Representing Gender
    9    (Re)Imagining the Body
    10    Sexualities
    11    Gender and Development
    12    Space, Time and Gender: Exploring Globalisation
    13    Gender and Religion

Abstracts should be no more than 250 words in length and submitted either by
