I really liked that Keith...do you see the self-exceeding-the self element as an explanation/METAPHOR/MODEL of (cognitive/mental) generation...& would you agree then, that design concerns the extension of the self into a realm of shared cognitions (through the object/process)and therefore equals some sharing of consciousness?
